I want to talk about busaa.

Busaa kali kamalwa ke sibukusu, niko bandu banywechanga buli mubukeni.

Busaa is Bukusu traditional beer, which people drink in every feast.

Busaa eng'onwanga khukhwama khubufu bupakhe.

Busaa is made from fermented flour.

Bufu buno bumala chisuku chitaru nebakhalanga.

This flour is then fried after three days.

Nebabukula batasamo kamechi, nebakulula, nebayusya.

Then they add water, they stir (it), and they turn (it).

Esuku ye khabili, batasamo limela.

On the second day, they add in yeast.

Then they mix, and mix.
