The story that follows is of an ogre.

One day a lot of people had gathered at Mwasame's field.

A day like today
Eli omusakhulu yuno khekekhoyela saano kamakali niko wele saba amukholele.
This old man is celebrating a lot of things that God has done to him.
Babantu vava khavemba chinyimbo.
People were singing.
Lulwimbo lwaba kholwimba lwaba, "Mwana wa mberi bayaye."
The song that was being sung was "mwana wa mberi bayaye (first born boys)."
Mwana wamberi musikhoyela.
They celebrate the birth of the first born.
Okwo nikwo kumwenya nikwo buli omundu kaba nakhakemba esuku ye lukhataru khubela yaba esuku yakhataru khukhwama omwana Rembo enga kasalibwa.
That was the song that everyone was singing on the third day because it was the third day since Rembo was born.
Endalo yino endayi khubela yokesia eli oumusakhulu Mwasame sali omukumba taa.
This day is good because it depicts that Mwasame (the old man) is not barren.

He had married a lady from the house of Wenani from Masaba before colonialists came.

The wife of this house, Namaemba is happy because she is celebrating the birth firstborn but a lady is not respected that much but for her, God has given a child.

Going along the road loving each other, reaching somewhere on the road he changed his body to become an orgre/monster, he wanted to eat that lady.

She screamed and when he [ku: huge creature/monster] got frightened/surprised, he brought back his humanly body.

They went on, reaching the house, this child from the orgre's tribe,he changed his body again and started eating girl Rembo.

Rembo screamed. He bit her mouth, lips, and cut from the intestines.
Bachile chimbilo.
They went running.
Khabalondilekho.
She followed them.
Khakukula kwesindukha mala kwakobosia kumubili kwomundu,bacha enga bola munju.
She screamed and he was surprised and he returned his humanly body, going, as they arrived at the house.
Khana khano ekholo ya bamanani, kwafura lundi mala kwanja khulia omukhana wefwe Rembo, kwamulia kumwa nekukhalila khamumala.
This child, the orgre tribe. He changed his body again and started eating our girl Rembo. He bit her mouth, lips, and cut from the intestines.
Khakhana khano bachile chimbilo enyuma wabwe mwasame baada yekhumanya ali kuno kunani.
This small girl went running behind them,Mwasame on realizing that this is an ogre.
Kwatima kwacha lakini kimiezi nga kabira kimikali, khana Rembo khanyola kumusiko kwe linani.
He ran away but after many months had passed, Rembo got pregnant of the ogre.

From then, a girl child can not get married on her own, she must be accompanied by her small sibling and it is a must for the mother to know the plans in the family mostly because of marriage.
